The Premier League have named their eight nominees for Player of the Season. Among a strong Arsenal contingent are five other of the division’s best in 2025/26.
Take a look out the standout stars that have been recognised for their form this season.
Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United)
Having already won the FWA Player of the Year, Bruno Fernandes is also in contention for the Premier League’s honour. Fernandes has led Manchester United to third place, securing Champions League football for next season.
He’s scored eight goals and registered 19 assists this season. That assist tally means he is just one away from matching the all-time assists record in a season. The current record is held by Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne, but Fernandes has two games left of the season to join that list.

Gabriel has been a stalwart at the back for Arsenal this season, whilst also being a key threat in attack from corners. He has seven goal contributions this season and has helped keep 16 clean sheets.
The Gunners are incredibly close to the Premier League title, with many thanks due to Gabriel who has formed a formidable partnership with William Saliba in central defence. Arsenal have conceded just 26 goals this season.
Morgan Gibbs-White (Nottingham Forest)
Despite Nottingham Forests struggle for league form during large parts of this season, Morgan Gibbs-White has been a constant shining light in the team. It’s the second season in a row that he has been nominated, after stepping up in attack in the absence of Chris Wood.
Gibb-White has scored 13 goals and provided four assists. His best run of form came in April, when he won Player of the Month for netting four goals and assisting one in just three matches to ensure Forest’s Premier League survival.

It has been another relentless season in front of goal for Erling Haaland, who remains at the centre of Manchester City’s attacking dominance. The Norwegian striker has scored 26 league goals in 34 appearances, edging closer to a third Golden Boot in four seasons. He also became a Premier League scoring centurion in record time, underlining just how quickly he has set the standard in English football. His early-season form, including a remarkable run between August and October, once again highlighted his consistency at the highest level.
David Raya (Arsenal)
David Raya has already won the Golden Glove for the third season in a row after an incredible campaign between the sticks for Arsenal. He’s kept 18 clean sheets and has produced some huge saves for the Gunners to keep them on track to win their first league title in 22 years.
Declan Rice (Arsenal)
Declan Rice has been one of the driving forces behind Arsenal’s title push, stepping into a more advanced role and thriving with added responsibility. The England international has added four goals and five assists in the league, but his influence goes far beyond the numbers. Whether operating in midfield or covering defensively when required, Rice has brought balance, energy and leadership to Mikel Arteta’s side. He has also been crucial in set-piece situations, helping Arsenal maintain their place at the top of the table throughout the season.
Antoine Semenyo (Manchester City)
Antoine Semenyo has enjoyed a breakout campaign after a January move to Manchester City following a strong start to the season at AFC Bournemouth. The Ghana international made an immediate impact, contributing goals and assists in his opening appearances and quickly adapting to Pep Guardiola’s system. His versatility across the front line has made him a valuable option in the title race, offering energy, directness and tactical flexibility at a key stage of the season.
Igor Thiago (Brentford)
Igor Thiago has delivered a standout first full Premier League season for Brentford, establishing himself as one of the division’s most dangerous finishers. The Brazilian forward has scored 22 league goals, pushing some of the league’s elite strikers in the Golden Boot race. Powerful, clinical and increasingly consistent, Thiago has provided Brentford with a reliable focal point in attack and proven he can deliver week after week at the highest level.
