AFC Bournemouth will hope to end a run of seven straight meetings without a win versus West Ham United as the teams face off in their final match of the Premier League Summer Series.
Andoni Iraola makes six changes to the side that lost 4-1 to Manchester United in their second game of the pre-season tournament hosted in the United States, with Alex Scott and Tyler Adams returning to the starting line-up and summer signing Adrien Truffert making his second start of the Summer Series.
Neto makes his first start in goal in place of Djordje Petrovic, with Adam Smith and David Brooks returning to the starting eleven for the second time in the series.
Iraola will be hoping his side return to winning ways following their defeat to the Red Devils, after the Cherries impressed in their opening Summer Series game with a 3-0 victory over Everton.
One surprising inclusion is that of Illya Zabarnyi, who has been linked with a move away from the Cherries to UEFA Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain.
Zabarnyi could follow Dean Huijsen and Milos Kerkez in a swathe of high-value departures from the Vitality Stadium this summer, with Mark Travers, Joe Rothwell, and Jaidon Anthony also having left via permanent moves.
Cherries fans will be hoping for further recruitment prior to the start of the 2025/26 Premier League season, with Petrovic and Truffert the only new arrivals to have joined the club this summer, with Zabarnyi’s potential exit leaving the Cherries light in central defence.
Meanwhile, West Ham have welcomed a player familiar to Bournemouth fans with the acquisition of Callum Wilson on a free transfer from Newcastle United.
The 33-year-old Englishman scored 67 goals for Bournemouth during a six-year stint at the club between 2014 and 2020 and now makes the move to West London after featuring heavily under former Cherries boss Eddie Howe at Newcastle.
The Hammers aim to conclude their Summer Series campaign with a triumph over Everton, following a 2-1 victory over Manchester United in their opening game.
