Dover Athletic are looking to continue their fine start to the season at the Dripping Pan tonight as they take on Lewes.

The Whites are eight games unbeaten in the league and currently sit top of the table, five points clear of Cray Valley.

They have the chance to increase their lead to eight points with a win against fifth place Lewes. The Rooks are enduring a dip in form at the moment, failing to win in their last three matches. Most recently, they lost 2-0 to Dartford.

Dover have been ruthless this season, scoring an average of 2.69 goals per game. Top goalscorer, George Nikaj, will be hoping to add to his tally of 14 goals this season.

Dover boss, Jake Leberl, says his side are “full of confidence” but understands the challenge of getting a result at the Dripping Pan.

He said: “It’s a very difficult place to go… [we are] fully aware of how good they are.”

The Whites haven’t lost an away match since April, however, Lewes are unbeaten at home this season (6W, 4D).

Lewes’ Ethan Kaiser will miss out tonight after being dismissed against Dartford, opening the door for new signing Peter Ojemen to make his debut.
