19-year-old Yankuba Minteh has recently completed a move from Newcastle to Brighton and Hove Albion for £30m. He ran riot in the Eredivise for Feyenoord last season and is expected to set the Premier League alight under Fabian Hurzeler at the Amex.
During his loan spell at Feyenoord last season, Minteh made 27 appearences, scoring 10 goals and claiming six assists, averaging a goal contributions every 92 minutes.
The Gambian also created nine big chances, had 27 take-ons leading to a shot and nine take-ons leading to a goal. This highlights his creativity out on the flanks and the ability to beat his man with ease, something Brighton have missed following the injuries of both Solly March and Kaoru Mitoma.

Under Arne Slot, Minteh succeeded in a counter-pressing set up due to his aggression out of possession. In fact, Minteh ranked in the top 1% of Eredivise wingers for tackles in the final third and tackles won per 90.

He was one of the best in the Eredivise and fits the Brighton system perfectly. The Gambian star is a forward thinking winger who likes to progress the ball forward and is equally apt at creating opportunities and scoring goals himself.
Fans on the South Coast should be excited for this new star in blue and white, as Minteh can be the key to helping the Albion reach the heights they managed under Roberto De Zerbi in 2022/23.
