Brighton kept alive their chances of Champions League football for next season after they cruised to a 3-0 win against Wolves at the Amex.
Two headed goals inside the first five minutes from Jack Hinshelwood and Lewis Dunk , and a late Yankuba Minteh strike were enough to secure all three points as the Seagulls rose to seventh.

The match was barely 30 seconds old when Brighton opened the scoring.
Maxim De Cuyper’s cross was met bravely at the back post by Hinshelwood, who guided his header beyond Dan Bentley for his third goal in as many games.
And it was from another cross as Albion doubled their lead, albeit this time from a corner.
Skipper Dunk found the roof of the net from close range after a teasing in-swinger by De Cuyper, with the Belgian trebling his assist count for the season this afternoon.

A laboured performance for the away side in the first-half, with Wanderers failing to muster a shot of any kind.
Rob Edwards’ side briefly threatened a comeback at the start of the second half when they struck the woodwork in quick succession. First, Yerson Mosquera’s header was denied by the crossbar, before Hwang Hee-Chan failed to convert a one-on-one with Bart Verbruggen.
The South Korean, however, was in an offside position so would have been disallowed nonetheless. From there, the home side seized control and added a third when Minteh emphatically blasted beyond Bentley.

So, a resounding victory for Brighton, who will have Champions League football firmly in their sights when they travel to Leeds next week.
Meanwhile, a sorry performance for Wolves which was reflective of their season. They host their final Premier League game for now next week, when they play Fulham.
