Erik ten Hag was dismissed from his post at Bayer Leverkusen after just 62 days in charge. According to The Daily Mail, fresh details have emerged outlining the reasons behind the decision to sack ten Hag.

Ten Hag took charge of only two Bundesliga matches, but according to The Daily Mail, players had no idea what they had to do during those matches.

The players also did not understand why doing push ups was just as important as ball work. Reports suggest that the atmosphere within the club was extremely cold.

The article also states that ten Hag did not get along with anyone at the club, not even his own staff that he brought along to Germany.

Finally, the Dutchman allegedly interfered with the transfer planning and only proposed players from his own agency.

According to Sport Bild, the club wanted to sack him much earlier and believe they took too long in making the decision. They also now consider ten Hag the worst coach in their club history.
