Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth. According to Sky Sports, the Hungarian has joined for a fee worth £40 million and has signed a five-year deal.

The 21-year-old admitted that he had no doubts when the Reds came calling. He told Liverpoolfc.com “It was always Liverpool”.

Kerkez said: “It’s a really honoured moment and a privilege and a happy moment for my family and especially for me.”

Kerkez is Liverpool’s third marquee signing this summer, following the announcement of Florian Wirtz last week and Jeremie Frimpong in May.

Earlier in this month, Bournemouth signed left-back Adrien Truffert from Rennes in a deal worth up to £14.3m, to replace Kerkez.

Kerkez makes the move to Anfield after two impressive seasons in England with Bournemouth, for whom he made 74 appearances, scored two goals and registered eight assists.
