Brighton are searching for their third consecutive Premier League win for the first time this season as they take on David Moyes’ Everton.
The Albion beat Everton 3-0 at Goodison Park in the season opener but have never completed a league double over them. However, Brighton have found momentum in recent weeks, going on a seven-game unbeaten run.
Brighton have not impressed at home though, with no wins in their last four league games at the Amex Stadium. This fixture gives Fabian Hurzeler’s side a good chance to get back on track, as Everton have won just once away from home in their last 21 league attempts.
Since their last away victory, the Toffees have scored just one goal in six away matches, however, they are unbeaten in their last three visits to the Amex.
Danny Welbeck’s return from injury has come at a good time for Hurzeler’s side. The Englishman has contributed to 10 league goals against Everton, the most against any opponent in his career. In the reverse fixture, Welbeck scored a goal and assisted Simon Adingra’s.

Hurzeler praised Moyes and explained what he expected tactically from his Everton side. He said: “They [West Ham] were very compact, very difficult to play against, good in transition and always know what to do to win Premier League games. It was impressive.”
He added: “I have respect for him [Moyes]…he is a role model.”

Although they are a doubt, there is positive news as Jack Hinshelwood “will be an option” according to Hurzeler.
Everton are without Armando Broja due to an ankle injury, but Tim Iroegbunam may be in contention after a 13-week absence.
