Newcastle beat Aston Villa emphatically with a 3-0 victory as Jhon Duran was controversially shown a red card 32 minutes in.

Wolves’ super start under Pereira continued as they beat Manchester United 2-0 at Old Trafford. Boxing Day concluded at Anfield as Liverpool beat Leicester 3-1.
On Friday, Brentford held firm at the Amex to earn a point in a 0-0 draw against Brighton and Arsenal squeezed past Ipswich in a narrow 1-0 victory.
