Ollie Watkins returns to starting line up as Jhon Duran’s wait for a league start continues.

Unai Emery said he has “no problem” with Jhon Duran’s reaction on the bench after being subbed off immediately after scoring against Bologna.

The Villa boss told the Independent: “Some young players can react a little bit but it is under my control.”

Aston Villa sit in fourth position after going unbeaten in their last six league matches, winning four and drawing two.

Bournemouth on the other hand are currently 11th and have lost three of their last six. However, last week they managed a shock win against title contenders Arsenal.

Despite the home side’s impressive form of late, Emery refuses to get too ahead of himself. He said: “We are going to focus on each match and how we are in the moment.”

On Friday, Andoni Iraola confirmed that Luis Sinisterra had “some issues after the game against Arsenal” and will not feature in the match day squad.

The Cherries are also without midfielder Alex Scott for “more than six weeks”.

Aston Villa’s Jaden Philogene-Bidace is not in the match day squad as he sees out his suspension following his red card against Fulham in game week eight.
