Hello, I’m Izzy! Thank you for checking out my website and I hope you are enjoying the content. Here’s a little bit about me and how I started my journalism journey. After 10 years playing football I fell out of love with the game, despite thinking for years that’s what I was meant to do and looking to pursue a professional career. I still wanted some involvement in the game as it was only playing that no longer interested me.

That’s when my college teacher suggested writing about Brighton, the team I have followed since the Amex opened in 2011. That was in February 2022 and the website was born. Since then it’s become far more than match reports, I have a podcast with over 700,000 channel views and a website full of articles. I’m currently a third year sport journalism student studying at the University of Brighton and looking to go into a career writing and talking about the game I love.

Although my football journey didn’t go in the direction I initially though it would, I couldn’t be happier with how it’s currently going and am looking forward to what’s to come from my sport journalism career. Thank you all for your continued support.
