At Camp Nou, Barcelona turned a fragile start into a confident win, beating Atlético Madrid 3–1 in a clash heavy with tension and ambition.

Atlético struck first around the 19th minute when Álex Baena beat the offside trap and slotted past the keeper, silencing the home crowd to lead with 0–1.

But just seven minutes later, Barcelona drew level. Raphinha accepted a piercing pass from Pedri, turned his marker and fired home to make it 1–1.

The remainder of the first half saw pressure but no breakthrough and a missed penalty from Robert Lewandowski keeping things tight.

After the  first half break, Barcelona found their rhythm. In the 65th minute, Dani Olmo pounced on a loose ball in the box and curled it home making it 2–1. The mood at the Nou Camp turned electric.

Atlético pressed to respond, but the defence held firm. In stoppage time, substitute Ferran Torres sealed it with a composed finish after a swift counterattack and the game wrapped.

From early shock to smart turnaround, Barcelona showed resilience, controlled tempo and clinical finishing under pressure. Atlético began confidently but couldn’t manage that momentum or survive the final push.

For Barca, this is a statement win and three vital points. For Atlético, it could be said to be a night of frustration and missed chances.
