Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Mathys Tel will become a permanent Tottenham Hotspur player this summer.
An agreement has been reached for €35m before add-ons. The Frenchman left Bayern Munich to join Spurs on loan in January in a deal which saw a €60 million buy option set in place.
Tel failed to make a huge impact during his short spell in north London, however his talent and potential was clearly showcased. His eye for goal, ball striking and movement within the box consistently impressed.

Tel played most of his minutes on the left wing, but also put in multiple shifts up front. It seemed as though Postecoglou struggled to figure out the best position to deploy him.
Newly appointed Spurs manager Thomas Frank is known for maximising his forwards and pushing their limits.
He will be licking his lips at the chance to work with Tel and turn him into the superstar which he is capable of being. One would expect it to not take to long to find Tel’s place in the team.
