The penultimate game week got started at Villa Park on Friday night where Aston Villa beat Tottenham 2-0 thanks to goals from Ezri Konsa and Boubacar Kamara.

Chelsea also played and managed to keep their Champions League hopes alive with a 1-0 win over Manchester United.

Everton gave Goodison Park a fitting farewell with a 2-0 victory over Southampton whilst Nottingham Forest came out on top against West Ham.

Brentford’s aspirations to reach eighth were damaged as they lost 3-2 at home to Fulham.

Leicester beat Ipswich 2-0 as Jamie Vardy marked his final game for the club with his 200th goal in 500 appearances.

Arsenal narrowly edged past Newcastle as Declan Rice scored the only goal in a 1-0 win to keep his side in second place.

Brighton’s European hopes were all but ended when rivals Crystal Palace won the FA Cup on Saturday but any slim chance they do have got slightly less slim as they came back to win 3-2 against Liverpool.

On Tuesday night, the new FA Cup Champions Crystal Palace ended their home campaign on a high with a 4-2 win over Wolves as Eddie Nketiah scored a brace.

Finally, Manchester City beat Bournemouth 3-1 in a game that saw two red cards and an Omar Marmoush wonder goal.

Kevin De Bruyne played his final game at the Etihad but spurned the chance to leave in style. He missed an open goal inside the six-yard box.

All the final games take place on Sunday at 4pm and there is still so much to play for at the top half of the table. See you next week!
