The transfer window slammed shut yesterday at 11pm but it was a jam-packed final day. Here are some things you may have missed amongst all the action.

Mathys Tel chose Tottenham

Spurs have signed Mathys Tel on loan from Bayern Munich until the end of the season. There is a £45m option to buy which, if activated, would see the 19-year-old sign a six-year deal at Spurs.

Tel was also attracting interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United. He initially turned down the chance to play for Spurs but changed his mind after a phone call with Ange Postecoglu.

Axel Disasi joins Aston Villa on loan

Aston Villa were very busy in January and completed one final deal before the cut off point. They signed Chelsea’s Axel Disasi on loan until the end of the season.

Tottenham were also in discussions with the centre-back but he chose Villa instead, becoming their fifth signing of the window.

Chilwell heads to Crystal Palace

Ben Chilwell has signed for Crystal Palace on loan until the end of the season. The Englishman has struggled with injuries but has come in to provide cover at left back.

Jeffery Schlupp joined Celtic on loan earlier in the day, leading to the completion of Chilwell’s move to Selhurst Park.

Many moves are still awaiting confirmation

There are several moves that are reportedly completed but yet to be announced.

Joao Felix was spotted leaving Milan Airport last night, he is set to join AC Milan on loan until the end of the season from Chelsea.

Middleborough forward Emmanuel Latte Lath is set to be announced as Atalanta’s new striker in a deal worth £17m.

Tyrell Malacia should be unveiled as a PSV player today as it’s the final day of the Dutch window. He will join them on loan from Man United until the end of the campaign.

Southampton forward Adam Armstrong has joined West Brom whilst Liverpool’s Jayden Dann will join Sunderland on loan to help their bid for promotion.

Free agent Willian is expected to re-join Fulham. He is a free-agent so the Cottagers have until the end of this week to complete the deal.
