Alexander Isak is back in the starting line-up for Newcastle as his side aim to extend their 15-game unbeaten home run.
Hurzeler insisted his game plan won’t change regardless of who leads the line for Newcastle. He said: “They are all fast so it doesn’t matter.”
Brighton have conceded the most goals this season amongst teams in the top half of the table. Hurzeler stressed the importance of his side tightening up their back line. He said: “Defence wins championships… we have to improve the way we defend if we want to be successful.”

Hurzeler acknowledged the Swede’s “special ability” but said there is “big competition” in the Brighton squad. He will be looking to make an impact alongside Carlos Baleba and Jack Hinshelwood.
Newcastle have a tough string of games approaching, so a win will be key today. Their next three league matches include trips to Nottingham Forest and Chelsea, as well as a visit from Arsenal in between.
Eddie Howe said: “We haven’t hit top gear, but we do need to find our best form to get some good results from these matches.”
