Neto thrives in transitional play, using his speed to quickly turn past defenders and create space in attacking areas. His creativity is highlighted by various metrics from his final season at Wolves. He ranked in the 81st percentile for key passes per 90 (2.21), 80th percentile for crosses into the penalty area per 90 (0.46) and in the 92nd percentile for crosses per 90 (6.26). Neto is a versatile attacker capable of playing on both wings, as a second striker, or even centrally as a striker or attacking midfielder. However, his most impactful performances come when he operates in wide areas, using his pace and dribbling ability to attack the byline and either cut back or shoot across goal.

If he can stay fit and adapt to his new environment, Neto has the potential to boost Chelsea’s attack massively and solidify his place as a top player in the Premier League.
